Bath Salts
Bath houses were an essential part of ancient Roman culture. The use of steam, baths and aromatic massage to promote well being is documented since the first century. From emperors and generals, through to gladiators, soldiers, ordinary citizens and slaves, the Roman's love of a good bath is one of the features that have come to characterise their society, often bathing in herbs to enhance the therapeutic value.
With this in mind I have produced a range of bath salts and bath milks for some Roman style pampering, made with dead sea salts full of natural minerals and Epson salts (magnesium sulphate) which in themselves can promote relaxation, open the pores to purify the skin, cleansing away dirt, sweat and toxins, to which I have added pure essential oils to offer the added benefit of aromatherapy. Pleasant soothing scents have been shown to induce calmness and promote relaxation; scented bath salts combine these attributes with other healing properties.
Available in three different varieties;
- Lavender Rose
- Lemon & Chamomile
- Lemon & Thyme
